Mastercard is ready for Nordic Fintech Week​

More than 2,000 attendees, and more than 100 speakers, 50 banks and 200 fintechs – Nordic Fintech Week attracts wide attention. A two-day conference on 27-28 September in Copenhagen is at the heart of a week full of activities and Mastercard joins businesses, industry experts, innovators, and thought leaders onsite.



Nordic Fintech Week will bring together the entire Nordic Fintech Ecosystem in Copenhagen at the number one go-to event in the region. Mastercard is a sponsor and partner of Nordic Fintech Week and will have speakers and participants present. 

Nordic Fintech Week is a great opportunity to connect with new and existing relations and the event attracts a diverse audience from the financial sector and the vibrant fintech community. 

Mastercard will speak at two sessions, be visible onsite and host the main social event, Mastercard BBQ, which is held in the afternoon and evening of the first day of the event.

 

A technology company in the payments industry
In recent years, Mastercard has built a stronger presence in the Nordics and expanded across payments and services. The majority of Mastercard participants at the event will join from the Copenhagen office while others join from Nordics & Baltics or Europe. 

Mastercard will have 40 attendees at Nordic Fintech Week which represents a diverse business across open banking, cards, account-to-account, and real-time payments as well as the fintech start-up initiative, Mastercard Lighthouse, and much more. 

Nordic Fintech Week consists of five tracks with paradigm-shifting inspiration and bold thought leadership. The event themes are: Decentralized Finance, Open Finance, Blending Finance, Ethical Finance and The Future of Finance. The two-day conference takes place in TAP.1 in Copenhagen.

    In this fireside chat, Christian Rau, Senior Vice President, Crypto and Fintech Enablement of Mastercard, Thomas Krogh, CEO, Copenhagen Fintech, Konstantin Lezhnin – CEO at Dreams Sustainable and Vaida Cesnuleviciute, Vice Minister of Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania will discuss opportunities and challenges for the future of Nordic and Baltic Fintech. Moderator: Lana Brandorne.
